Benefits of the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship 2024 in Germany
The Scholarship provides applicants with the following coverage:
- For Masters Studies:
- EU Students: €812 plus €300 book allowance per month
- Non EU Students: €934 per month plus various individual allowances. Tuition fees are covered in some cases
- For PhD Studies:
- Non EU Students: €1,200 per month plus €100 mobility allowance per month, plus various individual allowances. Tuition fees is not possible
- EU Students: €1350 per month plus €100 per month for research allowance
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should possess excellent academic records
- The Scholarship is open to both Germans and international students
- Proof of the required level of German language (B2 or DSH 2)
International Masters students with University Entrance qualification gotten outside Germany
- Proof of the required level of German language (B2 or DSH 2)
- You must provide proof of your first professional qualification
- You can apply even before you start your masters program or up to the end of the first semester
PhD Students who earned their University Entrance qualification outside Germany
- PhD subjects related to to the foundation’s focal point will be given priority
- You must have the required level of German proficiency.
- You must include proof of admission to PhD studies at a state-recognized university in Germany with your application.
- Before the application deadline, you must have completed preliminary work and submitted a valid timetable for completion.
